Diagnostic Hearing Test

This appointment will require the Audiologist to carry out thorough testing of your hearing. Firstly, we will conduct a medical history questionnaire, discussing in detail your previous hearing health, at this stage we will also discuss in detail your communication problems and in which part of your lifestyle this may be affecting you. Secondly the Audiologist will perform a full Audiometry test using air conduction and bone conduction to gain an accurate reading of your hearing health. Further testing such as a speech in noise test & speech discrimination may be required. Once the hearing professional has a full understanding of your hearing loss and requirements, the results will be presented on an easy-to-read Audiogram which will explain why you may be facing the difficulties you have presented. At this stage the Audiologist will be able to offer you different hearing solutions & also have the opportunity to trial any one of our hearing technologies for 2-weeks.
